British PM Theresa May sacks defence minister Williamson over Huawei leak
The US is adamantly opposed to Huawei's involvement because of the firm's obligation under Chinese law to help its home govt gather intelligence or provide other security services when required

"The Prime Minister has tonight asked Gavin Williamson to leave the legislature, having lost trust in his capacity to serve in the job of Defense Secretary and as an individual from her Cabinet," said a representative from her Downing Street office.
May said in a letter to Williamson that the examination "gives convincing proof proposing your duty regarding the unapproved divulgence" from the April 23 meeting of the National Security Council.Read More
