Khan said that if the following Indian government were driven by the resistance Congress party, it may be too frightened to even consider seeking a settlement with Pakistan over Kashmir, dreading a reaction from the right.
"Maybe if the BJP - a conservative gathering - wins, some sort of settlement in Kashmir could be achieved," Khan told a little gathering of remote columnists in a meeting.
